• Strong object-oriented concepts and programming skills with Smalltalk technology.
• Transforming the business requirements to technical design using the MVC design pattern.
• Understand the existing Smalltalk legacy system and generate detailed report on each functionality based on class hierarchy and methods.
• Provide support to the application migration team with the functional knowledge.
• Compare the Smalltalk code with the java code once the business functionality migrated through the Rule extracting tool.
• Ability to provide technical directions with good communication skills.
• Good fundamental knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL, GitHub.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.
• Customer-focused mindset and effective interpersonal skills.
