• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their specific needs, strengths, and therapeutic goals related to substance use disorders.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based methodologies, ensuring a responsive approach to client progress and challenges.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions using techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, adapting strategies to suit each client's unique situation.
• Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster peer support and community connection among clients, enhancing their recovery journey.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide integrated care that addresses the complexities of each client’s situation.
• Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support and resources during challenging moments in clients’ recovery processes.
• Educate clients and their families about the nature of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their journeys.
• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Stay informed about latest research, emerging trends, and best practices in substance use disorder treatment to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

You will primarily work with individuals facing the challenge of substance use disorders, including those in various stages of recovery. Our clientele includes diverse individuals from varied backgrounds, reflecting a wide spectrum of socio-economic factors and life experiences, all of whom require compassionate support and professional guidance as they navigate their recovery journeys.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is essential for this role.
• Strong understanding of substance use disorders, including symptoms, treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented care principles.
• A proven track record in delivering both individual and group therapy in addiction treatment settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring patient confidentiality.

The Greak Lakes Health and Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
