Overview:
.NET Core Backend Engineer (Event-Driven Systems)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (willing to travel to client locations)
Employment Type: Full-Time (W2)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled .NET Core Backend Engineer to build event-driven systems using .NET Core and C#. This role focuses on developing microservices-based backends with tools like Azure Service Bus for real-time data processing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop backend systems using .NET Core and C# with a focus on event-driven architectures.
  • Implement microservices with RESTful APIs and integrate them with Azure Service Bus for pub/sub messaging.
  • Design and manage event-driven workflows to support real-time data processing and notifications.
  • Optimize backend systems for scalability, performance, and reliability in distributed environments.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of microservices with UI layers.
  • Participate in CI/CD automation to deploy and update event-driven systems efficiently.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience in .NET Core and C# development with a focus on event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in building microservices and integrating them with Azure Service Bus or similar pub/sub tools.
  • Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing principles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with other messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka for event-driven workflows.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for hosting event-driven microservices.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Azure Application Insights for event-driven system observability.
