Registered Nurse (RN) - School-Based 1:1 Student Care | Elementary School
Make a Difference Every School Day
Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for an elementary student within the Pittsfield, NH School District. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one student while supporting their health, safety, and success throughout the school day.
This full-time, Monday through Friday position includes accompanying the student on their morning and afternoon bus transportation, making it an ideal opportunity for nurses seeking a predictable schedule with evenings, weekends, holidays, and summers off.

Position Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday (includes bus transportation)
Setting: Elementary School | Pittsfield, NH School District
Assignment: One-on-One Student Care
Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized nursing care for a student throughout the school day and during school transportation.
  • Accompany the student on the morning and afternoon bus route, ensuring their safety and medical needs are met.
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in the student's health status.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and the student's individualized care plan.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, therapists, and healthcare providers to promote the student's health, safety, and academic success.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment while encouraging student independence whenever appropriate.

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience within the last five years
  • Current CPR Certification required
    (Monthly renewal classes available and paid for by Interim HealthCare)
  • Pediatric, school nursing, or home care experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions
