Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth, ensuring a safe and supportive virtual space for students to express themselves.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and parents to create holistic strategies that promote mental wellness within the school environment.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient records and therapy notes, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards while protecting confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to foster student improvement and resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustments to educational settings. You will work closely with families, empowering them with strategies and coping mechanisms to support their child’s mental health journeys. Recognizing diversity, you will provide culturally competent care, adapting your approach to respect the backgrounds and experiences of each student.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current active LICSW license in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, relevant to providing therapeutic services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and developing effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with students, families, and school staff.
• A commitment to ethical practice and an understanding of culturally sensitive methodologies in mental health care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in school-based mental health services or familiarity with educational policies and dynamics can be an advantage. Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools is highly desirable, as well as knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
