  • Utilize evidence-informed therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that help patients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping skills, and promote emotional healing.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, ensuring maximum effectiveness in treatment.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and guidance when needed.
  • Educate patients and their family members on recognizing trauma responses, adopting coping mechanisms, and identifying additional available resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards for documentation.
  • Engage in ongoing education by participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities related to trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest research in the field of trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided to patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma presentations. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting these individuals as they navigate their recovery journeys, helping them rebuild their lives and forge meaningful connections within their communities.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably focused on trauma therapies.
  • Experience in delivering diverse trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a composed demeanor in high-stress situations while effectively managing patient care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, reflecting your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits, ensuring you and your family have access to necessary medical services.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer matching to support your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) along with holiday pay for work-life balance.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage to protect your practice.
