Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual mental health counseling sessions using video conferencing, ensuring an ethical and compassionate approach to care.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to deliver high-quality counseling tailored to individual client needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans, focusing on the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Facilitate clients’ self-exploration regarding their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, empowering them to develop healthier coping mechanisms.
• Maintain detailed records of client progress and report on treatment outcomes, supported by our streamlined documentation processes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and peer support sessions to enhance counseling techniques and stay current on industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our services primarily cater to stable, low-acuity adults who seek support for various mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress management. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline (Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling).
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) that allows independent practice. Please refrain from applying with limited/provisional licenses.
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster genuine connections with clients.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems.
• Access to a computer with webcam and audio capacity, along with a reliable high-speed internet connection for telehealth sessions.

Preferred Experience

At least two years of experience in providing mental health counseling is preferred, although motivated candidates with a strong academic background may be considered. A track record of ethical practice and positive client outcomes will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

The Lifecare Counseling and Services values its counselors and offers an attractive compensation package. Salary ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 annually, depending on hours worked and experience. Additional benefits include:
