About the Job
Deliver Functional Care in a High-Need Community Setting
@Home Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to adult patients in the Elmhurst area of Queens. This role focuses on supporting individuals living in dense urban housing environments where daily functional challenges often require practical, adaptive solutions.
You'll work with a diverse patient population while helping improve independence in real-world home settings.
Work Structure & Environment:
  • Flexible Scheduling: Set your own availability and manage your caseload independently.
  • Urban Community Caseload: Provide care across Elmhurst and surrounding Queens neighborhoods with high patient demand.
  • Operational Support: Administrative coordination and scheduling assistance provided.
  • Scalable Caseload: Opportunity to increase visit volume based on availability.
Qualifications:
  • Active New York State Occupational Therapist license.
  • Experience with adult or geriatric populations preferred.
  • Strong ability to adapt therapy to varied home environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
