What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.

Services are provided in our Lomita clinic and may also take place in homes, schools, daycares, social skills groups, and community settings throughout the South Bay, Long Beach, Orange County, and surrounding areas.


Responsibilities include:

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Collect and record client data using electronic data collection systems such as Motivity.
  • Teach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
  • Support social skills groups and clinic-based activities.
  • Collaborate with families and assist with parent coaching and training.
  • Attend clinical meetings and ongoing professional development trainings.
  • Learn and implement positive behavior support and de-escalation strategies.

Work Environment

Services are primarily provided in our clinic in Lomita, or in the home in the South Bay, Long Beach, Lakewood or Orange County. Typical service hours are between 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM, with some home-based services extending into the evening through 7:30 pm.
