This role operates onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Richmond, Virginia, which caters to a diverse patient population seeking non-hospital-based rehabilitation services. As part of a focused outpatient clinic, you will be immersed in an energetic and supportive setting conducive to professional development and teamwork. Our normal operating hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work schedule.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver effective physical therapy interventions that incorporate various manual techniques and exercise modalities.
• Manage a tailored patient load that allows for personal engagement, ensuring each patient receives ample time and attention throughout their therapy sessions.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and safe practices, fostering a deeper understanding of their health journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to design integrated treatment strategies, emphasizing a holistic approach to recovery.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for documenting patient interactions and tracking progress efficiently.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans through regular evaluations, adjusting strategies as needed to improve patient outcomes.
• MOTIVATE patients to engage actively in their therapeutic exercises and overall wellness routines, promoting independence and self-efficacy.
• Document all patient care services rendered meticulously, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuous education and training initiatives to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

The patients you will be working with come from a variety of backgrounds, including those recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various mobility impairments. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation process, facilitating improvements in their strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall functional mobility.

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent educational background; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active and unblemished physical therapist license, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven expertise in outpatient orthopedic care, demonstrating proficiency in a broad range of treatment modalities.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and the ability to create effective exercise programs tailored to individual patients.
• Familiarity with and proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for effective documentation.
• A solid understanding of current research and best practices in physical therapy.

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic or rehabilitation setting, preferably focused on physical therapy.
• Strong background in developing patient-centered care strategies, with a track record of successful outcomes in patient rehabilitation.
• Experience in a team-oriented environment, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Feel Life Body Therapy & Home Care offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
