Diagnostic Radiologist
Hospital-based private radiology group in the Miami, Florida region seeks a BC/BE Diagnostic Radiologist for a 2-year partnership track, no buy-in position in a Level II hospital setting. This opportunity offers high earning potential, strong work-life balance, and a highly desirable coastal lifestyle location.
Position Overview
  • Title: Diagnostic Radiologist
  • Practice: Hospital-based private practice
  • Location: Miami, Florida (South Florida, coastal metro area)
  • Hospital: Level II facility
  • Track: 2-year partnership track, no buy-in required
  • Work volume: 70-80 work RVUs per day (weekends slightly higher)
  • Modalities: MRI required; PET/CT experience a plus
  • Scope: General diagnostic radiology; no mammography and no minor procedures required
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies with a focus on MRI (body and neuro as applicable).
  • Read CT, radiographs, and other standard diagnostic imaging exams as needed.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and hospital staff to support high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in equitable weekend call rotation (1:6, onsite) with no weekday call responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • MD/DO with completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license.
  • Strong MRI skills; PET/CT experience preferred but not required.
  • Comfort with a busy, hospital-based general diagnostic radiology practice.
Compensation and Partnership
  • Very competitive starting base salary
  • Approximate partner income: ~$950,000 annually
