Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinic RN (Registered Nurse) for a PRN outpatient clinic nursing position in Philadelphia. Ideal candidates have an active Pennsylvania RN license and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. This clinic nurse role supports specialties including Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute care, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR.

Job Requirements / Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (PA)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; outpatient clinic experience preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, or Pediatric OR is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong communication, patient education, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and accurate clinical documentation
Responsibilities (Clinic RN / Outpatient Nurse)
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment and outpatient setting
  • Assist with procedures and treatments across specialties such as Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR
  • Monitor patient progress, triage concerns, and document care accurately in the medical record
  • Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and health maintenance
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and allied healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain clinic safety standards, infection control, and patient confidentiality
