The QA Engineer is an integral part of our QA team, responsible for maintaining rigorous standards of excellence. Your Responsibilities on the Team
- Support the QA initiatives by conducting thorough testing and quality assurance.
- Identify, recommend, and deploy the most effective testing tools and techniques.
- Provide a hands-on role in the testing process.
- Write significant amounts of high-quality test cases.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers on product roadmaps and feature acceptance criteria.
- Match QA priorities with business needs and requirements.
- Provide effective and consistent communication to peers and management about project status and team health.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging QA practices and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant QA experience within an agile (continuous deployment) environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience with test methodologies, QA processes, tools (e.g., JIRA, SQL), and software release cycles.
- Evident problem-solving skills and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in product documentation and QA reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Focus on excellent time management, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic and developing environment.
