Job description

YAS Networks is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer & Administrator to join our team in Tysons, VA. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and datacenter environments for our clients. You will work hands-on with routing, switching, firewalls, servers, and systems โ€” serving as a critical technical resource across client deployments and internal operations.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in network engineering and administration

Strong knowledge of routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent)

Hands-on datacenter experience: rack & stack, structured cabling, power management

Windows Server and Linux system administration skills

Experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)

Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus

CCNA or equivalent certification required; CCNP preferred

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Ability to work on-site in Tysons, VA and travel to client sites as needed
