About the Role

As a University Tutor, you will provide one-on-one academic support to students attending universities and colleges in Victoria. Sessions may take place in libraries, on campus in approved public spaces, or online.

You will help students deepen their understanding of course material, prepare for exams, strengthen study strategies, and improve academic performance through personalized instruction.

Qualifications

We are looking for tutors who have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (minimum requirement).
  • A master's degree, PhD, or other advanced credentials are considered strong assets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more university-level subjects.
  • Previous experience tutoring, teaching, or mentoring post-secondary students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt instruction to different learning styles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A professional, dependable, and student-centred approach.
  • The ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check.
