What is a Home Based Kaiser RN?

A Home Based Kaiser RN is a registered nurse who works remotely for Kaiser Permanente, typically providing patient care, health education, and case management services from their home. These nurses use telehealth technology to assess, monitor, and support patients, often coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Their responsibilities may include conducting virtual consultations, following up on treatment plans, and ensuring patients receive appropriate care while at home. This role allows nurses to deliver high-quality healthcare outside of traditional clinical settings.

Home Based Kaiser RNs often face challenges such as managing patient care remotely, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and adapting to varying home environments.
