Schulz Electric, part of Timken Motor & Services, is seeking a self-starting, results-oriented Sales Territory Account Representative to develop business across the Eastern United States. The successful candidate will combine strong sales skills with technical knowledge of industrial motors-including hands-on or commercial experience with motors used in nuclear power plants-and a proven record selling repair, retrofit, and aftermarket services. Prior experience with rotating equipment (pumps, generators, compressors, etc.) will also be considered. This is a field-based position: the role is home-based when not traveling and requires frequent travel (50%+), including customer visits and outage support. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, managing a sales territory, and responding to urgent customer needs. Preference will be given to applicants located centrally to the Eastern U.S. nuclear utility customer base; however, qualified candidates from anywhere in the Eastern U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead account management and expansion across the Eastern U.S.

Develop account plans, pursue opportunities, and increase market share with utilities, EPCs and industrial customers.

Apply nuclear motor expertise: consult on motor repair, rewinds, balancing, onsite machining, and nuclear qualification/traceability requirements.

Act as primary liaison between customers, field service, quality assurance and the shop to ensure projects move into service on schedule.

Perform customer site visits and informal equipment surveys, support Field Service escalations and outage mobilizations.

Prepare technically compliant proposals and quotations tailored to nuclear procurement expectations (FAT/SAT, documentation, traceability).

Analyze market needs in the Eastern U.S. and create targeted sales and penetration plans.

Maintain disciplined CRM and reporting: sales call records, quote followup, weekly itineraries, expense reports, monthly activity summaries and target account plans.

Collaborate with QA, Operations, Service and Finance to meet contractual obligations and customer timelines.

Represent Schulz Electric professionally during highpressure outages and tight schedules.

Key Attributes:

Ability to multi-task, set priorities and goals, and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and organization.

Ability to work as part of a team and the ability to interact with all levels of customers and internal support teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and public speaking.

Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office software)

Basic Qualifications:

Applicant must have 7+ years of mechanical and/or electrical experience, motor and/or gearbox repair experience preferred.

Applicant must have Nuclear Industry knowledge.

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, engineering, business or manufacturing from an accredited college or university is preferred.

All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards. There will be no discrimination due to gender or gender identity, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran/military status or any other basis protected by applicable law.
