About The Lisinski Law Firm
Since 2020, Lisinski Law Firm has served as a dedicated humanitarian immigration practice committed to providing meaningful support to individuals and families seeking safety, stability, and a path forward. We frequently stand with clients who have been turned away elsewhere, offering both advocacy and care. Joining our Firm means becoming part of a team devoted to keeping families together and "Changing as Many Lives as Possible."
Location: Indiana, United States
Engagement: GIG / Contract / Appointment-Based
Start: Approximately 10 days from engagement
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
About The Role
If you enjoy representing clients in immigration court but don't want the demands of managing a full caseload, this opportunity was built for you.
Lisinski Law Firm is seeking experienced immigration attorneys to represent clients at scheduled Individual Calendar Hearings on an appointment-based contract basis. This role allows you to continue practicing meaningful immigration law while maintaining the flexibility to balance other professional commitments.
Assignments are scheduled in advance during standard court business hours, giving you the opportunity to focus on advocacy and courtroom representation while our team handles the preparation, logistics, and ongoing case management.
We'll provide the operational support, malpractice coverage, and attorney preparation you need so you can concentrate on delivering exceptional representation when it matters most.
Your Key Contributions
  • Serve as co-counsel on client matters, representing clients at Individual Calendar Hearings.
  • Appear in person for scheduled immigration court hearings.
  • Advocate professionally on behalf of clients and communicate case developments accurately.
  • Follow attorney preparation materials and firm instructions.
  • Report hearing outcomes using established firm templates.

Why This GIG Works
  • Flexible, appointment-based assignments.
  • No case management, filings, or ongoing client ownership.
  • Predictable courtroom appearances during standard court business hours.
  • Transportation and training expenses covered.
  • Malpractice insurance provided for every assignment.
  • Administrative and operational support from an experienced immigration team.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Active U.S. bar license (any jurisdiction).
  • 3-5 years of immigration or courtroom experience (USCIS or EOIR) required.
  • Basic knowledge of immigration law is required.
  • Availability during standard court business hours.
