This full-time position will primarily focus on providing physical therapy services in the comfort of patients' homes, ensuring they receive personalized care that enhances their recovery and overall wellness. You will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, emphasizing independence and quality of life for each client.

About the Organization

Classical Aerobics Therapy Gym is recognized as one of the leading home healthcare providers in the nation, committed to high-quality medical services. We specialize in home healthcare, hospice care, private duty home care, and independent living support, delivering services that prioritize patient and family-centered care. Our reputation for excellence drives us to innovate and improve our service delivery, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our community.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite, primarily in Keansburg, New Jersey, serving clients within the local community. As a member of our therapy team, you will operate in an environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and compassion. You will directly engage with clients in their homes, fostering relationships built on trust and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical capabilities by utilizing diagnostic and prognostic tests to inform treatment plans.
  • Direct physical therapy sessions aimed at alleviating pain, improving mobility, and restoring muscle function, while adhering closely to individualized care plans.
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants, ensuring they effectively implement the prescribed rehabilitative strategies and provide quality support to clients.
  • Educate clients and families about their physical therapy programs, assisting them in proper use and care of therapy-related devices.
  • Monitor clients’ progress diligently, documenting changes in their condition and adjusting treatment protocols based on their evolving needs.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights on patient progress and collaborating on care plan modifications.
  • Assist clients with exercises, mobility training, and other therapeutic interventions in their home settings.
  • Prepare detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with OASIS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct on-site functional assessments to evaluate the home environment and recommend modifications that enhance client independence.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals in need of home care services that range from those recovering from surgery to elderly clients managing chronic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse population, ensuring that each patient receives tailored support that helps them achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid and current physical therapy license to practice in New Jersey, demonstrating your commitment to continued professional standards.
  • Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and motivate clients and their families.
  • A proactive attitude towards patient care, with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of your clients.
  • High energy level and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a home-based setting.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of experience working as a physical therapist, preferably in home care or acute settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in patient evaluation and care plan development.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, retirement savings options, and continuing education reimbursements, fostering both personal and professional development.
