    • Review production equipment, manufacturing processes, and existing tooling to ensure designs account for functional, safety, ergonomic, and operational considerations.
    • Develop 3D CAD models for fixtures, cutting tools, work holding, gages, and other manufacturing aids.
    • Review design concepts with stakeholders, revise as needed, and obtain approval prior to release.
    • Produce complete, accurate, and error-free engineering drawings and bills of material that conform to company standards, industry standards, and best drafting practices.
    • Prepare tool layouts identifying tooling, cutting sequences, and station-by-station operations for production equipment.

    • Effective communication skills with the ability to work directly with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and shop personnel.
    • Proven ability to independently develop tooling solutions from concept to release with minimal direction.
    • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining and/or assembly operations.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple design requests simultaneously and follow through to completion.
    • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D engineering drawings, including GD&T and standard drafting practices.
