Senior Fire Sprinkler Systems Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced fire sprinkler professional to support our service and inspection operations. This role is focused on inspection, system evaluation, deficiency identification, and customer advisory, ensuring systems meet NFPA standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee NFPA-based inspections, testing coordination, and compliance reviews of fire sprinkler systems

Assist visual system evaluations and identify deficiencies, code issues, and performance concerns

Document findings and provide detailed inspection reports and recommendations

Serve as a technical subject matter expert for customers, account managers, and internal teams

Review prior inspection reports to identify trends, recurring deficiencies, and risk areas

Assist in scope development for estimating, repairs or corrective work.

Participate in customer meetings to explain system conditions, compliance requirements, and recommended next steps

Ensure all activities align with NFPA standards, AHJ requirements, and company compliance protocols

Collaborate closely with union labor and internal teams to ensure proper execution of any field work

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems (service, inspections, or field operations)

Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 25, and related codes and standards.

Prior experience in fire sprinkler construction, inspections, or service is strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of system components, layouts, and common deficiencies

NICET certification (preferred)

Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into client-friendly language
