Job description

We're looking for a motivated and well-organized Project Manager to take the lead and manage exciting construction projects from start to finish, both in the office and out on the job site. This is a fantastic chance to oversee large infrastructure and commercial construction projects, making sure everything is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets all safety and regulatory requirements. Duties

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters
  • Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize workflow and resource allocation
  • Manage project budgets by tracking costs, analyzing variances, and implementing cost control measures using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools
  • Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and project progression
  • Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory adherence in line with local construction regulations
  • Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining detailed documentation for all project phases
  • Supervise project teams on-site and remotely, providing leadership in managing schedules, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high team morale
  • Ensure timely submission of progress reports, safety documentation, and regulatory filings as required by project specifications
  • Drive project success through effective time management, risk mitigation strategies, and proactive problem-solving
  • Extensive experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid/HeavyJob, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects from start to finish
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling techniques including construction schedule coordination and project timeline optimization
  • Skilled in reading blueprints and construction plans accurately to guide project execution
  • Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Excellent project leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in cost management practices including budgeting, financial tracking, and contract negotiations
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while maintaining clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management to meet deadlines consistently
  • Familiarity with managing contracts and ensuring adherence to legal requirements in the construction industry
