Description
The General Pediatric Division within the Department of Pediatrics at Golisano Children's Hospital is now accepting applications for its Instructor position. The candidate will join an active clinical practice in a multidisciplinary division with opportunities for research, teaching and academic advancement..
Our pediatric practice is Rochester's largest pediatric clinic, serving over 13,500 children in the greater Rochester area and is recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Certified Patient-Centered Medical Home. We focus on improving health-care delivery and health outcomes for vulnerable children and youth. Division faculty are expected to contribute to the academic mission of the division through participation in scholarly activities that may include: research publications, publications of quality improvement projects, educational scholarship, reviews, chapters or books; participation in clinical trials, and/or clinical investigations; academic presentations, and review of manuscripts or grants. As a member of the Primary Care Fellowship program, the Instructor will dedicate a minimum 75% effort to research supported by a NIH funded T32 grant and is encouraged to obtain a Masters Degree to enhance research skills (if not already obtained) concurrently with the 2-3 year Fellowship Program.
