Job description

The HEF Group has been a global leader in the science of tribology for more than 70 years and offers innovative nitriding surface treatments and PVD thin-film coating solutions for corrosion, wear and friction reduction of automotive and industrial machinery components. Today HEF is active in more than 40 countries throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, engaged in providing Liquid Nitriding services amp; chemicals; PVD based coating services; tribology testing services; and supplying engineered sleeve bearings amp; bushings for demanding industrial applications.
HEF Group operates a global service jobbing network that provides our nitriding treatments and PVD coating services to manufacturers of automotive components and precision components used in industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, hydraulic gearboxes, etc. TS USA, a subsidiary of HEF Group, operates several processing facilities in the US. Job Responsibilities:
• Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with appropriate staff involved in the shipment of finished product.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
• Inspect shipments for visible damage, incorrect labeling, or missing documentation. If found, document and communicate with shipping manager.
• Make sure that packed products are sealed and labeled appropriately for shipment.
• Ensure that all accompanying documentation is present with packed items.
• Maintains a clean, neat workspace.
• Ensure all information is entered into tracking system accurately.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Provides additional backup support as needed for other departments.
Position Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, logistics or shipping/receiving department desired.
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to lift 55 lbs.
• Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment. understand, follow, and support company policies and procedures, in addition to corporate and local safety initiatives.
• Communicate with other departments to assure quality standards, operating consistency, and efficiency.
