Exciting Cardiology Hospitalist Position Available

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our expanding team at a prominent non-profit healthcare organization in South Carolina. This role is based at our 517-bed tertiary care facility, which serves as the flagship hospital in Florence.

Position Overview

This unique inpatient-only cardio-hospitalist role features a 7 on/7 off work schedule. The selected physician will oversee the cardiology inpatient service, collaborating closely with residents and advanced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the cardiology inpatient service effectively.
  • Work alongside a team of 13 cardiologists within a well-established heart program.
  • Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.
  • Engage in bedside teaching, didactics, and mentorship for residents.
  • Participate in a thriving community teaching environment.
Qualifications
  • Board certification in echocardiography is preferred.
  • Competency in transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) is desirable.
  • Academic appointment with the University of South Carolina Floyd School of Medicine is encouraged but not mandatory.
