Job Title:Assistant Chief Flight InstructorDepartment:Engineering | University Airport

This position performs the duties and responsibilities of FAA Assistant Chief Flight Instructor as required by FAA Regulations Part 141; assists Chief Flight Instructor in administration of Flight Education; supervises Flight Instructors; develops and monitors flight safety programs; provides flight and classroom instruction; conducts stage checks, progress checks and final flight tests; provides Flight Instructor initial and annual standardization of oral and practical checks; assures instruction quality and student progress/completion, including exams and check-rides; provides flight and classroom instruction; coordinates and schedules personnel and aircraft; Additional Information: This position must be on call for emergencies for all operational hours of the Flight School; will have alternating schedule with other Assistant Chief and Chief Flight Instructors;

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required: Meets qualifications for FAA Part 141 Assistant Chief Flight Instructor; instructional activity within the previous 24 months and experience with a flight school certified through 14 FR Part 141

Experience: Required: 3 years of relevant experience required

The target hiring range for this job profile is $55,700 - $72,700. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
