  • Design and implement data pipelines and integration workflows using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management (APIM)
  • Architect and optimize data platforms using Azure Databricks, including performance tuning, cluster management, and workflow orchestration; leverage Genie for AI assisted data exploration and insights
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks using Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, and/or other data marketplace and cataloging tools
  • Apply AI/ML capabilities to enhance data solutions, automate processes, and drive intelligent insights across the platform
  • Write and review high-quality SQL, Python, and PySpark code; ensure engineering best practices are followed across the team

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross functional teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Champion Agile delivery practices, participating actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, business units, and leadership; represent the technical function in stakeholder discussions
  • Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple, separate teams (e.g., data and integration teams working in parallel), ensuring alignment, clear ownership, and seamless collaboration between them
  • Mentor junior engineers, actively helping them build and strengthen their programming skills on the core technologies used by the team
Licenses/ Certifications Qualifications/ Requirements

    • API Management (APIM)
    • Logic Apps

    • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Strong programming proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
  • Strong team player with demonstrated leadership capability in cross functional, distributed team environments
  • Experience working effectively with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
