Job description

Digital Home Systems is seeking a talented and self-motivated Programmer / Service Manager to join our growing team. We specialize in luxury home automation, integrating cutting-edge systems such as Control4, Lutron, and Savant for high-end residential clients.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing client relationships, and has strong technical and programming skills within the smart home industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot home automation systems (Control4, Lutron, Savant).
  • Manage and execute system updates, network configurations, and remote support tasks.
  • Coordinate service calls, client requests, and emergency support as needed.
  • Collaborate with field technicians and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details clearly to clients.
  • Be available for nights and weekends as needed for remote or onsite emergencies.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with at least one major automation platform (Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or Savant).
  • Experience or familiarity with other automation platforms is a strong plus.
  • Lutron HomeWorks Programming experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, routers, switches, and IP configuration.
  • IT background or experience with system integrations is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
