POSITION SUMMARY

The Refrigeration Assembler position is responsible for assembling refrigeration systems on air conditioning units using equipment such as pipe cutters, pipe benders, oxy-propane welding sets, flaring tools, taps, drills, in addition to any other equipment needed to perform the necessary tasks.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Other duties may be assigned)

  • Perform pressure and leak testing on own work.
  • Accurately and efficiently interpret drawings and sketches
  • Ensure good housekeeping of individual work area
  • Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
  • Other assignments as designated by supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experienced in the assembly of industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, and the assembly of copper fittings by soldering.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
