At Cirris, we design and manufacture industry-leading cable and wire harness testing equipment used by companies across aerospace, defense, medical, transportation, and industrial markets. We're looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our Production team and help build the high-quality products our customers depend on every day.

What You'll Do 

As an Assembly Technician, you will: 

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.  

  • Follow work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings to ensure products meet quality standards.  

  • Perform wiring, soldering, crimping, and mechanical fastening operations.  

  • Inspect components and finished assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.  

  • Maintain production documentation and report issues, discrepancies, or improvement opportunities.  

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve assembly challenges.  

  • Support inventory accuracy by tracking parts usage and identifying shortages.  

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.  

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.  

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.  

  • Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and basic electrical safety principles.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 1–3 years of assembly experience in electronics, instrumentation, or manufacturing environments.  

  • Experience assembling electronic testing equipment or other precision devices.  

  • Technical training or vocational certification.  

  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.  

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S workplace organization.

Physical Requirements 

  • Frequently use hands and fingers to assemble small components and operate tools. 

  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday. 

  • Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.  

  • Must be able to read written instructions and visually inspect components and assemblies.
