Job description

Job Title: Assembly Associate

Job Description

The Assembly Associate is responsible for manufacturing coils, assembling finished products, and performing assigned soldering processes in a clean, organized production environment. This role supports the full production cycle by assembling small components, following detailed production documentation, and ensuring that all products meet current quality and process specifications. This role will pay $20 - $21 an hour and it will be 4, 10-hour shifts Mon-Thur, 6AM - 4:30 PM with overtime available on Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture coils and assemble finished products in accordance with production control documentation and established procedures.
  • Perform soldering of components, cabling, and wiring configurations, with training provided as needed.
  • Use small hand tools to assemble and wind small parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work meets current quality requirements and complies with the Quality System for assigned tasks.
  • Document labor time accurately to the appropriate manufacturing orders and follow all process specifications and production rules.
  • Assist with the movement of materials through workstations, ensuring proper labeling of all bins, trays, and in-process materials.
  • Inspect work and products during and after assembly to verify compliance with quality and performance standards.
  • Cross-train and support multiple areas across the production floor, including assembly, soldering, wiring, and mechanical tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while meeting production schedules and output expectations.

  • Strong hand dexterity and comfort working with small parts and components.

Work Environment

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Fridays typically used for overtime as needed. Work involves handling small components, using small hand tools, and performing light to moderate lifting of up to 20–30 pounds in a structured production setting.
