What is holter scanning?

A Holter Scanning job involves analyzing and interpreting data recorded by a Holter monitor, a portable device that tracks a patient's heart activity over 24 to 48 hours or longer. Technicians review ECG readings, identify arrhythmias or abnormalities, and generate reports for physicians. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial in this role, as findings help doctors diagnose and manage heart conditions. The job typically requires knowledge of ECG interpretation, medical terminology, and specialized software.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the holter scanning position, and why are they important?

To excel in Holter Scanning, you should have a background in healthcare or cardiac diagnostics, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret electrocardiogram (ECG) data accurately.
