Job description

ICU RN – Acute Care

Shift: 3x12 (Variable) Weekends: Yes (coverage as needed)

Assignment length: 13 weeks

License: Must have AK RN license in hand

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; at least 1 year in a similar setting

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; TNCC desired

Experience with EMR: Epic

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting.

Monitor hemodynamic status and administer vasoactive medications as necessary.

Manage ventilator settings and support patients on BiPAP/CPAP as needed.

Conduct neuro assessments and interpret ABGs, ensuring prompt intervention for changes.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient management.

Support post-surgical care for cardiac and neuro patients, including recovery protocols.

Orientation: 12 hours

RTO/time-off: Any requests must be submitted upfront and will be individually approved.

Holiday commitment: Must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Floating: May require floating to like units or sister facilities as needed.

Parking: Free onsite parking available.
