The position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where we foster a supportive and engaging work culture. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and equipment, allowing you to leverage evidence-based practices in your therapeutic interventions. The team works Monday to Friday, with potential weekend coverage as needed, supporting a flexible work schedule.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional limitations.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments to enhance patient mobility, strength, and functional independence, addressing conditions such as injuries, chronic illnesses, and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Maintain and uphold the highest standards in clinical care by adhering to evidence-based practices that satisfy both patient and physician satisfaction metrics.
• Optimize patient care time, striving for a minimum of 75% engagement with patients in therapeutic modalities during your shifts.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to coordinate care effectively, ensuring seamless transitions for patients between acute and longer-term settings.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while planning for timely discharges.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about treatment plans and coping strategies, fostering independence and self-management skills.
• Engage in ongoing professional education and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care outcomes.

You will be working with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, workplace injuries, and neurological conditions. This role will provide you with the opportunity to impact various age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations, each requiring tailored intervention strategies that align with their unique needs and recovery goals.

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure, certification, and registration for occupational therapy practice in Connecticut.
• Certification in CPR/AED/BLS, or the capability to obtain it prior to commencing employment.
• Ability to navigate electronic health record systems and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for documentation and communication purposes.
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while independently managing treatment responsibilities.

• Experience or additional training in specialized areas such as neuro-rehabilitation, sports medicine, or pediatric therapy is highly advantageous.
• Prior exposure to outpatient therapy settings, utilizing contemporary rehabilitation methodologies.
• A demonstrated track record of achieving positive patient outcomes in clinical settings.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
