About the Role
As a Gaming Service Technician, you will play an essential role in troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing video gaming equipment at customer establishments throughout the assigned service area. This position is responsible for responding to service calls, resolving technical and customer-related issues, and supporting management in delivering exceptional customer service across the region.
The ideal candidate must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, and successfully meet all requirements established by the Illinois Gaming Board and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, including fingerprinting and background screening.
What you'll do
Core Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls and complete equipment repairs efficiently by prioritizing requests based on urgency and geographic location.
  • Coordinate with Compliance and Service teams, under the direction of the Regional Operations Manager, to identify and prepare equipment for deployment and service.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions involving electronic gaming devices and related equipment.
  • Install, inspect, and test electronic gaming devices, hardware, and associated systems to support continuous and efficient business operations.
  • Communicate professionally with clerks, management, and customers to address and resolve service-related issues.
  • Complete and maintain all required service documentation, device records, and activity logs accurately and timely.
  • Ensure the quality, functionality, and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate equipment and parts needs to minimize downtime and support rapid product turnaround.

Collaborations and Partnerships
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with the Team Lead
  • Ability to work closely with the Regional Operations Manager
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships with establishment employees and patrons utilizing Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) within establishments
