Junior Field Technician Job Summary
As a Junior Field Technician at Steri-Clean Virginia Beach, VA, you'll respond to biohazard, trauma, hoarding, and extreme cleaning scenes. You will be doing work that genuinely helps people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. You'll work to safely clean, remediate, and restore residential and commercial properties, following strict safety protocols and company procedures from start to finish.
This is a physically demanding, emotionally mature role that rewards people who take pride in doing hard work well. No prior industry experience is required we provide full training. What we're looking for is reliability, a strong work ethic, and someone who wants to build a career with a company that promotes from within. If you have previous experience in cleaning, restoration, moving, or construction, you may be an even better fit.
Schedule / Expected Work Hours:
  • Monday thru Friday with some weekends
  • Weeks fluctuate in hours, some can be 40+ while there is time without available jobs.
Responsibilities
  • Able to perform solo jobs based on management discretion
  • Empathetic and professional communication with clients
  • Biohazard disposal
  • Site documentation
  • Cleaning and organizing vehicles
  • Basic tool/equipment knowledge
  • Knowledge of all policies (safety, HR, ECP, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Must live within 30 min. of Virginia Beach shop (Near Dam Neck and London Bridge)
  • Previous experience with power tools, construction, or restoration preferred
  • Must be able to work in a respirator and full PPE for long periods
  • Must be able to be on call some nights and weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to our shop (work vehicles provided)
  • Must have working cell phone
