Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager (Fully Remote | HNW & Trust/Estate Focus)

Location: Denver, CO (Firm HQ) — Open to Fully Remote Candidates
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive base + overtime pay + annual bonus


About the Opportunity

A highly respected boutique CPA firm headquartered in Denver is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join their growing private client group. This is a fully remote opportunity for the right individual who values flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in high-net-worth individual, trust, and estate taxation, along with a hands-on approach to both client service and review responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review complex tax returns for HNW individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and S-corps

  • Provide proactive tax planning and wealth transfer strategies

  • Manage and mentor staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all engagements

  • Communicate directly with clients, attorneys, and financial advisors

  • Conduct technical research and advise on complex tax matters

  • Support firm growth initiatives and maintain long-term client relationships


Qualifications:
  • CPA required

  • 6+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on HNW and trust/estate clients

  • Strong technical review and client advisory skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • Experience with CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar software preferred
