Join Hitachi Energy as a Training & Development Specialist, where you will play a key role in accelerating employee development and supporting operational excellence across our manufacturing environment. In this highly visible role, you will partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and employees to deliver impactful training experiences that build capability, strengthen performance, and support long-term success.

You will help drive the effectiveness of our Structured On-the-Job Training (S-OJT) program, create engaging learning materials, and lead training-focused projects that align with business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to influence workforce development, enhance employee engagement, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact
  • Facilitate Structured On-the-Job Training (S-OJT) to accelerate skill development and employee proficiency.

  • Develop and maintain Job Instruction Breakdowns (JIBs), training guides, and learning materials.
  • Monitor training progress and support accountability for learning outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Provide on-the-floor coaching and support to ensure successful integration of training into daily operations.
Your background
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience delivering training, coaching, or workforce development programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methodologies.
  • Experience creating training documentation, work instructions, or process-based learning materials.
