Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Analyst to join our team in Norman, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing our inventory operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all warehouse locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data systems to support our supply chain objectives.

  • Monitor and track inventory levels in real-time using inventory management systems and identify discrepancies
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and physical counts to ensure system accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Analyze inventory data and trends to identify inefficiencies, variances, and opportunities for optimization
  • Prepare comprehensive inventory reports and documentation for management review and decision-making
  • Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices to minimize waste and improve efficiency
  • Investigate and document inventory variances, including shrinkage and obsolescence, to determine root causes
  • Maintain and update inventory management systems with accurate product information and stock levels
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing metrics and recommending process enhancements
  • Assist in inventory forecasting and planning to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs
Qualifications
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and related software platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks
  • Solid understanding of inventory control principles and supply chain processes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (preferred)
