Hours: 5am - 1:30pm

Job Description
We are seeking hard working, motivated, and energetic individuals to work for a great company! Summary/Objective
The maintenance mechanic position conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
Essential Functions
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance records
  • Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • MS Word, Excel, Outlook a plus, Basic Computer skills. JOB DUTIES:
  • Use computerized system for work orders / timesheets (minimal)
  • Order or create requisitions to maintain key parts and supplies to maintain smooth operation of the Plant
  • Communicate with vendors and oversee contractors working onsite
  • Fabrication, welding and cutting
  • Drive Forklift *Forklift Maintenance is a plus
  • Some overtime hours as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, squat and/or stoop.
  • Frequently works near or around moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
  • Exposed to airborne particles.
  • Work environment Wood processing, manufacturing operation.
  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
  • Must take a pre-employment drug test and a background check to be considered for the position.
  • Drug test and background check will be performed.
