Machine Operator - $20-$25/hr - 1st & 2nd Shift - Solon, OH
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
Location: Solon, OH
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 1:30 PM - Midnight

We are urgently hiring Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Solon, OH. This is a great opportunity for candidates with machine operation, production, tow motor, forklift, or manufacturing experience who are looking for steady hours and long-term growth.
As a Machine Operator, you will help set up and operate slitting machines used to produce quality metal materials to customer specifications. You will work on the production floor, monitor equipment, inspect materials, and help keep operations running safely and efficiently.
 Machine Operator Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate slitting machines

  • Load materials onto machines and adjust settings based on specifications

  • Monitor machine operations, gauges, and control boards

  • Inspect materials for defects or machine malfunctions

  • Package, handle, and protect finished materials

  • Assist other operators with setup, adjustments, and production needs

  • Complete work orders and production reports accurately

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness around operating equipment

  • Perform additional production floor duties as assigned

  • Previous tow motor or forklift experience preferred

  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately

  • Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferred
