JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Educational Services Manager, the Program Facilitator plays a key role in bringing Garner Holt Education Through Imagination's experiential learning programs to life. This position delivers dynamic, hands-on STEAM instruction to youth through engaging, project-based learning experiences, both in-person and virtually.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Facilitate engaging, project-based, hands-on STEAM lessons for students in both in-person and virtual learning environments.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and energetic learning atmosphere that encourages creativity, curiosity, and collaboration.
  • Lead and support student programs, workshops, and special events.
  • Welcome visitors and conduct tours of programs and facilities for students, educators, partners, and community members, serving as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador of the organization.
  • Support the coordination and scheduling of student programs and activities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide support across programming, operations, communications, and events as needed.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach efforts for student programs, including demonstrations, events, and tours.
  • Engage with students professionally by providing constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain program materials, ensuring all resources are available and ready for instruction.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional content aligned with program goals and age-appropriate learning outcomes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Prior experience working with children 5 years of age or older, 2 or more years (Preferred)
• Prior customer service experience, 1-3 years (Preferred)
• Prior experience instructing others, 1-3 years (Preferred)

• Travel may be required, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• May work occasional overtime including evenings and weekends.
• Mandated Reporter Training. (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required completion within 90 days of hire)
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is an on-site, PRN (as needed)/part-time role:
Regular Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm
Occasional weekends may be required.
