CDL drivers are professional drivers who hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), which allows them to operate large or specialized vehicles such as trucks, buses, and tractor-trailers. Obtaining a CDL requires passing both written and skills tests to ensure safe and competent operation of commercial vehicles. Additionally, some employers offer wellness programs and flexible scheduling to help drivers manage fatigue and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Open communication with dispatch and team members is encouraged to quickly resolve any on-route issues.
