Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role: 


  • You will complete medical releases, injury reports, Workers Comp forms, and monthly referral logs 


  • You will assist with managing patient charts including assembling new patient charts, organizing medical records for subpoenas, and patient chart delivery 


  • You will code workers comp encounter forms and set up workers comp accounts in the systemโ€ฏ 


  • You will code and charge out x-rayโ€ฏ 


What Qualifications you will need: 


  • One year of experience as a HIM Tech supporting a physician practice is highly preferred 


  • Experience using an EHR system is extremely helpful
