ABOUT SERCLEAN:

SerClean is a trusted restoration company serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Atlanta market. We specialize in water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, and reconstruction services. We're looking for a driven, hands-on Sales Manager to lead our in-home sales team as they meet with homeowners following emergency property damage events, guiding them through the restoration process during some of the most stressful moments in their lives.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for building and developing a team of in-home sales representatives within the restoration industry. This role involves coaching and training representatives directly in the field, managing day-to-day sales performance, and building strong relationships with homeowners, insurance carriers, and key stakeholders. The Sales Manager will oversee the in-home sales process from the initial homeowner appointment through work authorization, ensuring the team consistently delivers a consultative, high-integrity sales experience and exceptional service to clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of in-home sales representatives to maximize their performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development.
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to consultative selling standards and results.
2. Hands-On Field Training and Coaching:
  • Get out in the field regularly to ride along on live in-home sales appointments, coaching representatives in real time.
  • Train new and existing team members on consumer education, damage assessment, scoping, and closing technique through hands-on, in-field demonstration.
  • Model best practices directly with homeowners when needed, setting the standard for technique and results across the team.
3. Sales Process Oversight:
  • Oversee the in-home sales process from the initial appointment through work authorization and contract execution.
  • Ensure sales representatives follow best practices and company procedures for scoping, documentation, and closing.
4. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, insurance carriers, and industry partners.
  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem resolution.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to track progress toward targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
6. Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Communicate proactively with customers, insurance carriers, and internal teams throughout the sales and restoration process.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS OF THE JOB: Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • In-home, outside, or consultative sales experience strongly preferred; restoration or home services industry experience a plus.
Certifications:
  • Relevant industry certifications or training (e.g., IICRC) are advantageous but not required.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency in job management software, tablets/mobile applications, and sales analytics tools.
Other Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Willingness and ability to be in the field regularly, training hands-on alongside representatives during live customer appointments.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
