Nurse (LPN or RN) | Highgate Senior Living – Bozeman, MT

Compensation: LPN $38–$40 per hour | RN $42–$45 per hour

A community, not a facility. Highgate Senior Living takes a holistic, person-first approach to supporting residents and families with warmth, dignity, and purpose. We are seeking a licensed LPN or RN who brings sound clinical judgment, calm leadership, and genuine care to every interaction.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Nurse partners with the Healthcare Director to support resident assessments, medication management, clinical documentation, and day-to-day nursing services for Manor and Cottage residents. This role also guides Medication Assistants and unlicensed team members while helping residents age in place safely and with dignity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Assist with resident assessments, service-plan updates, and clinical follow-through.

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by licensed providers.

Perform nursing procedures, including injections, dressing changes, and tube-feeding support.

Monitor resident conditions, vital signs, weights, skin integrity, mobility, and functional status.

Respond to emergencies and communicate changes in condition to families, providers, and leadership.

Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, home health, hospice, and other providers.

Guide Medication Assistants and unlicensed team members with clinical direction and coaching.

Maintain medication records, controlled-drug documentation, and required nursing documentation.

Follow Highgate policies and all federal, state, and local licensing requirements.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

RELATABLE EXPERIENCE

Assisted living, memory care, long-term care, skilled nursing, home health, or hospice.

Medication management and resident assessment.

Care coordination with outside providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current, unrestricted Montana LPN or RN license.

Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain, plus a current TB test.

Ability to accurately process verbal and written provider orders.

Ability to sit, stand, bend, move continuously, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

At least 18 years of age with successful completion of required background screening.

Ability to meet all state and local licensing requirements.
