Northwest Exterminating is seeking a driven, self-motivated Commercial Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a true hunter role focused on generating new business opportunities within assigned territories. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, building relationships from the ground up, and creating new revenue through strategic outreach. 

This position is 100% focused on new business development — no inbound leads or existing customer portfolios are provided. Success in this role requires initiative, persistence, and a passion for connecting with local businesses.

What your job duties will entail: 

  • You will generate sales leads for Northwest via cold calling, networking, door knocking and clover-leafing within assigned territories 
  • You will target and acquire new B2B opportunities for pest, termite, and wildlife services 
  • You will ensure completion of documentation to align with Northwest standards 
  • You will build, nurture, and strengthen relationships with internal and external customers 
  • You will attend all Northwest continuing education programs to enhance your daily performance 
  • You will keep a Safety-First mindset, including when operating company equipment and company vehicle

Qualifications

 What you need: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Sales experience required
  • B2B experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
  • Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments

Physical Demands / Working Environment: 

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations: 

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity 
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 
  • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods. Travel may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. 
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
