  • Lead the FastAuth engineering team within McKesson's Specialty Access & Affordability value stream

  • Own delivery, team health, and technical direction across multiple major workstreams

  • Plan and execute workstreams, set goals, prioritize investment, and refocus efforts based on business impact

  • Run operating cadences within SAFe, including PI planning

  • Address root causes and remove team blockers

  • Define FastAuth's vision aligned with value stream and company priorities

  • Partner with architects and staff engineers on TypeScript, React, .NET, Azure, and event-driven architecture decisions

  • Resolve misalignment with partner teams and stakeholders

  • Coach the team through change, complexity, and ambiguity

  • Attract, hire, retain, interview, and assess engineering talent

  • Manage performance, motivate high performers, turn around low performers, and develop careers

  • Structure the team and plan headcount for sustained success

  • Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and quality

  • Build cross-functional relationships, facilitate conversations, and settle disagreements

  • Experience operating in a scaled agile environment, SAFe or equivalent, including planning across teams

  • Data-driven approach to delivery health, including throughput, cycle time, and predictability metrics

  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of AI tooling in engineering workflows

  • Ability to resolve cross-team misalignment directly

  • Clear written and verbal communication for engineers and executives

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Sponsorship is unavailable presently or in the future

  • Preferred: healthcare applications, EHR integrations, prior authorization, pharmacy or payer domain experience, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, healthcare data exchange, leading people managers, team scaling, and engineering communities of practice
