What You'll Do
- Implement Behavior Plans:Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervisingBCBA.
- Behavioral Support Strategies:Utilize behavior-analytic strategies such asDiscrete Trial Training (DTT), Naturalistic Teaching, and Reinforcement Techniquesto support clients.
- Data Collection & Documentation:Accuratelytrack client progressand submitsession notesin compliance with UTC policies.
- Client Engagement:Providepositive reinforcementand professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement.
- Collaboration:Work closely withBCBAs, therapists, and caregiversto ensure consistency in intervention across all settings.
- Challenging Behaviors:Manage and addresschallenging behaviorsaccording to individualized behavior plans and training.
- Confidentiality & Professionalism:Adhere toHIPAA regulationsand maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
- Ongoing Training:Participate in required training andcontinuing educationopportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Preferred, but not required)
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (Preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check and TB test (Required)
- Reliable transportation to client locations (Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual, Spanish speaking (Preferred).
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
