Job description

As a high-yield investment research analyst, you'll conduct research analysis on non-investment grade companies and support the research efforts and portfolio construction of a portfolio manager. In this role, you’ll work closely with portfolio managers on in-depth issuer, industry and security research and valuation, while following market, issuer and security developments. 

Minimum qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of six years of relevant work experience 
  • OR a master's degree or higher, with at least four years of relevant work experience 

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of fixed income, bond math, yield curve dynamics, accounting, corporate credit analysis, financial modeling, covenants, macro-economics and market regulations. 
  • Ability to independently conduct fixed income research; analysis may focus on individual securities, issuers or sectors. 
  • Knowledge and understanding to make buy/sell recommendations 
  • Strong relationship building skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with dealers and execute trades 

 

Compensation  

  • Base: $160,000 - $190,000/year depending on position level and experience 
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 60% - 70% of your eligible earnings based on company performance and experience level
  • Participation in our restricted stock units plan
